Connie Goodman
Connie Goodman is a PTR-certified Tennis Instructor and avid competitor. She has competed in the Connecticut Masters and National Senior Games for the last 15 years.
Connie’s involvement in athletics goes back to high-school and college years when she was a medalist in both international swimming and diving competition, followed by post-graduate studies and a master’s degree in physical education. She then discovered tennis, became active in the sport, and was ranked in the top 10 for her age group in the Northeast.
In 2018 Connie was honored with the Richard P. Garmany Award for her constant achievements and leadership in tennis in the State of Connecticut.
Connie communicates her enthusiasm and love of tennis to students of all ages and skill levels. She frequently notes that “I really teach self-esteem and confidence. Tennis is just the vehicle.”
