Westport Continuing Education is offering a basketball camp for boys and girls entering grades 5-8. This camp will be focusing on skill work including shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense as well as fun and competitive competitions with scrimmaging. 

Coaching staff:

Coach Jake Sullivan - "Coach Sully" is returning for his 8th season with Staples Boys Basketball. As the head JV coach, Coach Sully loves to prepare basketball players for the next level. A former high school varsity player himself Coach Sully has always had a passion for basketball and wants kids to have a similar experience as he did, growing up to love the game. 

Coach Matty Corrigan - A 2026 recent graduate from Staples High School. Matty was an integral part of Staples Boys Basketball legendary 26-1 season that culminated in a game at Mohegan Sun Arena. As a 2-year starter for the Wreckers, Matty brings versatility, shooting, strong defense and athleticism to his game. Matty also has a passion for working with kids as this will be his 4th summer now mentoring Westport's youth before he heads off to James Madison University in the Fall.
