Description

❖ All dates are Monday – Thursday.

 

❖ The rain date will be the following Friday of each session.

 

Participants will learn about a different stroke daily. Camp includes instruction on the forehand,

backhand, serve and volley.

Our 10 and under players will enjoy USTA-approved 10 and under Tennis which uses lower-compression

balls and smaller racquets to allow them to get acclimated to tennis in a fun environment.

Racquets will also be available for purchase at camp.

 

Bring a nut-free snack and water.

 

Beginner: Player is introduced to the forehand, backhand, serve and volley with drills, fun games, and game

situations.

Advanced Beginner: Player has had an introduction to grips and strokes and starts to make contact with the

ball regularly.

Low Intermediate: The player is starting to keep the ball in play, learn to serve, can volley, and learn court

positioning.

Intermediate: Player can keep the ball in play, can hit with some spin, can serve, volley, and rally consistently.

Additional Notes

Enter school and take a hard left to access the courts. Student drop-off and pick-up will take place outside at the tennis courts of Staples High School front entrance.
