Description

Turn up the volume and get ready to rock! Westport Summer Teen Theater is offering a 3-Week Intensive that brings the electrifying energy of Rock of Ages: Youth Edition to life in an unforgettable, high-powered theatrical experience designed for young performers.

Inspired by the hit Broadway musical Rock of Ages, this youth edition features all the big hair, epic guitar solos, and iconic ‘80s rock anthems — specially adapted for teen performers. Campers will dive headfirst into a fast-paced rehearsal process that mirrors a professional production schedule.

In addition to rehearsing scenes, songs, and choreography, participants will get hands-on experience bringing the show to life by helping create elements of the set and costumes. Campers will also sharpen their creativity and stage presence through engaging improv games and ensemble-building activities that strengthen confidence, spontaneity, and teamwork.

Campers will get the opportunity to work with current Staples Players and Alumni during this three week session.

Get ready to rock the stage, live loud, and take center stage this summer! 🎸✨
