Description
In this hands-on woodworking class, students in grades 7–8 will learn basic tool safety and craftsmanship while building their own birdhouse from start to finish. They’ll also have the opportunity to create a beautiful custom pen, and if time allows, design and build a unique wooden clock to take home and enjoy for years to come.




The cost includes a non-refundable supply fee of $70.
Alison Stephens has been teaching Technology Education in Connecticut for the last 14 years. For most of that time she has taught a large amount of woodshop/hands on problem solving with emphasis on safety and good measurement skills. In addition to working with wood she loves to hike with her dogs, travel, and take lots of photos.
Class schedule is: Thursdays 3:30-5:00PM, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14
