Description
Students will learn how to safely use the wood lab to create several projects, including a wind chime, a portable caddy to carry whatever they wish. They will also make a beautiful pen, they will turn on a pen lathe, and time depending, a beautiful display box for the pen.
(Please note: the students will choose one big project and if time allows they can make the pen & box)



The cost includes a non-refundable supply fee of $70.
Alison Stephens has been teaching Technology Education in Connecticut for the last 14 years. For most of that time she has taught a large amount of woodshop/hands on problem solving with emphasis on safety and good measurement skills. In addition to working with wood she loves to hike with her dogs, travel, and take lots of photos.
Class schedule is: Thursdays 3:30-5:00PM, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14
