In this class we will use recycled or found materials to create a variety of different DIY crafts. Students will learn how to turn these materials into items they can use and enjoy. 

 

Projects will include votives/vases made from glass jars, jewelry/trinket dishes made from shells, bookmarks/small notebooks made from recycled products boxes, mosaic art made from stones, shells, or tile pieces, homemade paper made from scrap paper and dried flowers, and a few other projects if there is time. 

 

Students will be responsible for bringing in clean glass jars, product boxes such as a cereal box or snack box, and any scrap paper, rocks, or shells the wish to use.
