"Gear Up for Algebra 1" Summer Course Details

This prerequisite course provides the specific content and skills required for success in 8th-grade Algebra 1.

• Dates: July 6 – July 24, 2026

• Time: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM (Daily)

• Location: A hybrid model of in-person sessions at Bedford Middle School and virtual sessions via Google Meet.

• Schedule:

• Monday & Friday: Virtual sessions via Google Meet

• Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: In-person at BMS (Room TBD)

Mandatory Requirements for Algebra 1 Enrollment:

1. Attendance: Both virtual and in-person attendance is mandatory. A maximum of two (2) absences is permitted for the duration of the course.

2. Performance: Students must earn a minimum score of 85% on the final exam to qualify for entrance into Algebra 1.

Student drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Bedford Middle School front entrance.
