Is there a registration fee?
Registration fee
of $10 is waived if you register online.
How do I register?
Online –
To register for any of the classes through our secure registration system, please click on the course number or description (in bright blue) and you will be taken to a page which will allow you to register through a secure server for that specific course.
Register for additional courses if desired.
If you are registering more than one person, you must do them separately by using a different user name and password for each individual. You must completely log out of the registration process by hitting complete checkout and following those instructions before starting another individual's registration.
For your convenience, a profile will be created on each student which will expedite future registrations.
Register in person: Staples High School in room 1040.
Register by mail: 70 North Avenue, Westport, CT 06880. Use this form (PDF format) if you are planning on mailing in your registration.

You must register prior to attending a class. Registration fee of

What if the class is full?
We will let you
know right away if the class is full and will be happy to tell you about other
classes we think may be of interest to you. We will put your name on a waitlist
if you would like.

Are
books/supplies included for adult education classes?
Books and
materials fees are additional. You will be notified the first day of class what
the materials fees will be. Some crafts classes may have additional fees for
which you may be liable even if you don’t attend the class. The teachers often
purchase materials in advance. If you register and then discover you cannot
attend the course, please inform us as soon as possible.
Is prior
experience/knowledge required?
We offer many courses for beginners. If “advanced” skills are required, it will
be clearly indicated in the course description. Some courses that require prior
experience include technology courses, foreign languages, and others that are
described as “intermediate” or “advanced.”
