SONGWRITING-COMPOSITION KEYBOARD FUN-DAMENTALS (Entering Gr. 5 & up):
Learn a
combination of songwriting-composition skills from the Masters of Music
and/or your favorite artists while experiencing in a state-of-the-art
music studio the wonders of the versatile music software program
Finale. Beginner to intermediate level piano/keyboard players are
welcome. You will have the opportunity to work on your playing skills
with an experienced teacher of nearly 25 years. All of this in a fun,

INTRODUCTION TO A
SCHOOL TV STUDIO (Entering Gr. 4-6, 5-8):
Learn how the
“morning news” is created through ‘hands-on’ activities associated with
live video communication and news production. You will learn basic
camera use and video editing as it applies to the creation of short news
programs. The studio component of the course will introduce
pre-production planning, production, and post-production of video for
use in live television shows. Techniques include concept development,
interviewing, camera work, microphone use, and sound recording.

COMPOSITION (Entering Gr. 5 & up):
Make ideas come to life online with music and animation! You will
work with professional midi and audio software (Apple Logic Express) and
Macromedia Flash to create fully integrated multimedia compositions.
These compositions may be geared toward advertisements, music videos,
animated games or other topics of interest to you. Our goal is for
you to be able to take an idea from scratch and build a complete,
concise multimedia experience of your own creation that is viewable on
