PROGRAM
INFORMATION
- Everyone is welcome – residents and
non-residents, Age 3-Adult.
- Children’s classes meet Monday through
Friday, unless otherwise noted.
- Course titles (with entering grade levels
or ages for children’s classes), course descriptions, dates, times,
locations and tuition are listed in our catalog.
- No classes or camps on July 4.
- Be sure to register early; enrollment is
limited.
- Registrations are processed on a
first-come, first-served basis.
- We expect people in our programs to act
with kindness and integrity while demonstrating respect and caring for
others and the environment.
- Dress and grooming must be appropriate.
Shorts are allowed. Footwear is mandatory.
- Insurance cannot be initiated during the
summer, but comprehensive year-long student insurance covers the Summer
School period. Check your policy.
- Smoking is not permitted in any area of
the building or outside the building at any time.
- Transportation is the parent/student
responsibility.
- Room assignments will be posted in the
main entry.
GENERAL POLICIES
- We only send confirmations with online
registrations.
- Registration fee of $10 is waived if
you register online.
- Full tuition and registration fee, if
applicable, must accompany registration.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and
checks payable to Westport Summer School.
- We will notify you if a course is full,
cancelled, under-subscribed or the time has been changed. In order to
accommodate students in small or under-subscribed classes, starting and
ending times are subject to change.
- The administration reserves the right to
limit enrollment, withdraw courses or discontinue classes. Classes must have
sufficient enrollment to be self-supporting.
- Our instructors are hired to teach general
concepts to groups of students, not to provide specific investment advice to
individuals. Students should consult their own financial advisor or attorney
before making any investment decisions based on specific examples used by
our instructors.
- Westport Continuing Education provides
these courses as a public service and does not endorse or recommend any
product or service mentioned in connection with these courses.
REFUND POLICY
- Withdrawal and program transfer request
must be in writing and emailed, faxed, mailed or delivered in person to us

- Absolutely no refunds for withdrawals from
academic credit courses.
- There is a $25 charge for program
transfers.
- There are no refunds for withdrawals from
single session courses.
- If a student withdraws at least four weeks
before the start of a program, tuition will be refunded less a $25
processing fee.
- If the student withdraws at least two
weeks before the start of a program, 50% of the tuition will be refunded.
- If the student withdraws during the two
weeks preceding the program up to the first two days after the start of the
program, 25% of the tuition will be refunded. No refunds thereafter.
- There is a $25 charge for program
transfers.
- If a student is dismissed for disciplinary
or truancy reasons or withdraws from school, the student forfeits the entire
tuition and fees.
- If the school cancels a course, all
tuition and fees will be refunded.

During our classes photos may occasionally be
taken for use in our catalogs. If you do not wish to be in a photo that may be
published in our catalog, please tell the photographer before any photos are
